I’m currently placing the White Sox draft picks in my Top 30 prospect list, and I tentatively have 8 draftees on it currently.
Cholowsky, Thome, Prosek, Volchko, Segura, Scolari, Weingartner, and Casteel all being on my list makes this system sooooooo much deeper.

Too early for predictions for the 2027 MLB Draft? Don’t care.
Tennessee RHP Landon Mack has a deep mix with a FF up to 100 from a low release point. I would be all over him in the 20-30 range next year, which is where the White Sox should be.

The White Sox absolutely crushed this draft. Landing the best collegiate SS in a decade in Cholowsky and supplementing him with high upside prep talents in Thome/Prosek/Weingartner/Casteel is outstanding.
Tons of talent in Volchko/Scolari/Segura, and every college bat they drafted has above-average to plus power. They had a type this draft, and it was evident.
Take a damn bow Chris Getz, Mike Shirley, and the entire scouting department.

Fennell is a pretty funky arm. Super low release height paired with big time extension, which helps his 90 MPH fastball feel a tick or 2 faster.
FF/FC/CH/CB/SL mix, with good strike rates on all of them. Slider ran a 48.6% Whiff% this year. Starter going forward, I’d imagine.

Berkland had a massive year for Minn. St., posting a 1.121 OPS across 56 G with more BBs than Ks.
Currently playing in the Northwoods League, where he is 38/40 on SB attempts. Has played LF and SS, very athletic.

I was waiting on a funky sidearm pitcher, and here it is!
Bergman’s SI gets some really nasty downward movement at around 92 MPH, with a SL that has 30” of separation from the sinker. Didn’t throw much this year, but made 16 starts for Toledo in 2025.

Yeager is a fun senior sign here. Likely a multi inning RP with a FF/SI/SL mix.
Sinker is legit, getting 18” of arm side movement and has been up to 96 MPH. Tons of strikes on the 2 fastballs, and the slider ran a 56.9% Whiff% this year.

Grayson Fitzwater looks great under the hood, with a 107.1 MPH 90thEV and solid swing decisions.
A ridiculous 73.8% of his hard hit balls were to his pull-side this year. Absolutely crushed breaking balls, running a .606 xwOBAcon against them.

Holcomb is an absolute tank, with a 6’4 245 pound frame. Another guy who absolutely mashes baseballs all around the yard, but the contact is lagging a bit behind.
There seems to be a trend of power/speed guys this year for the White Sox.
