My thoughts on Sean Miller horns down gate: 1) he was trolling Xavier fans and also trying to rise above by throwing the Xavier sign - basically signaling that he’s above their pettiness. 2) he was in a highly emotional state and put in a weird circumstance. 3) no coach at Texas should ever do horns down under any circumstance. 4) this is not worth spending one more second of brain space on. We got a game to win.

I haven’t gotten to roast @AmericanAir for a while, mostly because I don’t fly them unless I have to. Last week I am flying from DCA to MIA, with about 2.5 hours for a connection. The flight left on time and was due early, then the Miami airport suddenly wouldn’t let some planes land. We circled but then because AA always cuts it close, we were out of fuel and forced to land in PBI. They say we are going to refuel and head to Miami within the hour. What they meant to say was over 3.5 hours of delays, no fuel truck, tarmac holds, etc But good news! My connection is two hours delayed I might make it! We land in Miami within 30 minutes to go. No gate 20 minutes to go they cannot connect jetway to plan due to equipment in the way. 10 min to go, jump off plane first, gate agent calls ahead to let my plane know I’m coming On the plane and previously at the gate, my two daughters are also telling the gate I’m on the airport on the way. No on cares. Flight attended tries to stall but gate agent angrily rebuffs. I roll up 4 minutes after she closed the door after 4 hours of delay. Gate agent angrily rebuffs “the plane left a while ago” Me “I’m gonna need you to turn around then cause there’s a plane still here (it has not left gate yeth She argues with me, points where the rebooking desk is nothing else Nobody at this airline gives a rats ass about their customers

So, BYU was penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game (dropped one spot). Which allowed Miami to move up and get compared directly to Notre Dame. But Alabama was not penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game.
