In your debate with @thepondering_, @hutchinson, you said that you would still be open to prosecuting Trump under the Georgia cases etc etc.. But in our debate you said that these cases are done and over with. Did you finally change your mind?

Fascism only succeeds if liberals do what they have always done. One could imagine an alternate future where the left flank during the Nazis coming to power actually assassinated Hitler or prevented the rise via some other means.
Extreme, but you essentially could have possibly saved the lives of over 70 million people that was lost during WW2. If you ask me, being illiberal to save that many people is a great bargain.
Also, the charges, whether being won or dismissed, does not address my underlying point. It's not a functional republic to have these kinds of charges dropped. If the people are the ones who voted in Trump, then the people are the problem.
It is not fascistic or illiberal to admit when the country has elected a fascist. Rather, I think the solution lies in how we deal with the concept of free speech, which isn't necessarily illiberal either.

Fascism crept in stages in historical examples, and they grew out of two decades of economic hardship and a Great Depression. What I find interesting is that you seem to advocate for the same methods fascists used to take over: deliberately weaken our institutions and consolidate power, by any means necessary if need be. Seems counterintuitive.
His felony convictions were not dismissed by the Supreme Court. He won before he was sentenced, so the judge discharged his sentence. The voters themselves, not the Supreme Court, are the reason he never saw a jail cell. They’ll elect republicans and give them big majorities again if dems do the crazy shit you guys are asking for (which is why dems won’t do that).

Winning elections =/= Frequency of election interference by Trump
What part of this is still baffling to you? It's not just about winning but making sure interference behavior isn't normalized.
Hutch@hutchinson
@thepondering_ I’m told by many smart people that none of this matters because Donald Trump is going to steal the midterms, so these margins don’t matter :(
