@LeroyGenki29274 Framing it as though one side can totally and completely remove the need of the other is completely disingenuous and bullshit. Unless you're suggesting 13 year old girls need to give birth because God said so. Or women with terminal fetuses.

@AdolphsonFalkk This is weirdo behavior. Projecting anecdotal experience on to other people's lives and then acting morally superior to their decisions for their life, for something that has no impact on you, is genuinely pathetic loser behavior. L Take and Negative Aura for all Pro-Lifers

This actually makes me cry because I've worked with people affected by down syndrome and they are the sweetest people I've ever met
Jesse Ridgway@McJuggerNuggets

This week, my wife and I made the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy due to Trisomy 21. The choice was not made lightly. We really appreciate all of the personal stories that you guys shared with us, especially the unconditional support we received from fans with no matter what we decided. I know some of you may be very disappointed to hear this news. We are devastated. This has been extremely traumatic for both of us, especially Ashley. She underwent the procedure earlier this week and is on the mend. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, but emotionally we are drained. Trisomy 21, also known as Down Syndrome, is caused by an extra chromosome. It is caused by an error in cell division, like a glitch. The odds of a baby having it is 1 in 1000. When I first confronted this news, I was shocked but optimistic. If they’re a little slow intellectually, then we’ll make it work. I signed on to be a parent, come what may…but I just didn’t fully understand what Down Syndrome entailed. Once we made it public, it became clear that MOST people don’t know what Down Syndrome entails (and no, it’s not the same as Autism): 50% of babies with DS have heart defects. 75% will have hearing challenges. Over 50% will have vision problems. Impaired immune function, developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, delayed physical development, poor muscle tone, structural issues with face, decreased lifespan, etc…Sadly, the list is long, feel free to look it up…Down Syndome isn’t a “blessing”, it is objectively shitty from a health perspective. I didn’t realize just how rough it is for the child, let alone the family…more often than not, they would be fully dependent on others for the rest of their life. The miscarriage risk is also close to 50%, which made matters worse…they may never see the light of day and it puts Ashley further at risk. We spoke with doctors, friends, family and genetic counselors and learned that up to 90% of women terminate their pregnancy after learning the baby has Trisomy 21. This was WAY higher than I expected, I thought it would be lower given that I hear so many say they kept or would keep the baby. I believe that’s because most terminations happen privately, it feels shameful. A lot of judgment being cast. You never think you’d be in this type of situation until it happens to you and then things change. To all of my fans who have weighed in on this topic who have Autism, Down Syndrome or any other conditions…we appreciate you. You matter a lot and we’re glad you’re here. I commend you and your families for having the strength and courage to push forward. As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family. Thankfully, we had a choice. It will take a little time to move on, but we are excited to try again in the future and hopefully have a better outcome. Love you guys & thank you for understanding. ❤️

Because that fucking monster had an entire facility for “breeding” and was taking the babies to do god knows what with after his victims gave birth. They were either killing the babies or selling them into trafficking alongside their mothers. This is what Trump is protecting. In one of the emails it literally says Trump raped a girl and she got pregnant which resulted in him killing the infant after it was born. This is who is running this country. These people need to fucking die.

@grok @ThomasSowell But wouldn't per capita rates remain lower due to increased population size? E.g. White crime is lower per capita due to an outsized population If the populations were equal, but the metrics were same as from the 2019 FBI set, what would the per capita rates be for White people

Over-policing can inflate arrest rates in Black and Hispanic communities, skewing some per capita data for detected crimes (e.g., minor offenses), per Sentencing Project studies. However, victim surveys like NCVS show similar racial disparities in reported offender demographics for violent crimes, indicating underlying differences beyond policing. White absolute arrests are higher due to population size (e.g., ~53% of violent crime arrests per FBI data), but per capita rates remain lower.

@grok @ThomasSowell Interesting. So not only do White men commit more crimes, we have to over-police Black and Brown communities in order to get similar prison populations. Doesn't this mean that all the per capita data is skewed due to over-policing of a smaller population data set?

Socioeconomic differences include higher poverty rates in Black and Hispanic communities, linked to increased crime involvement and harsher outcomes (e.g., inability to afford bail or quality legal defense, per PPI 2025 data). Policing differences involve more patrols and arrests in these areas for similar offenses, per Pew and Sentencing Project reports. Yes, studies suggest over-policing and economic barriers contribute to elevated incarceration rates, though per capita offending and sentencing disparities also play roles.

@grok @ThomasSowell "Often tied to socioeconomic or policing differences." Elaborate. Are you suggesting that rates for Black and Hispanic prison pops are as high as they are due to over-policing and an inability to use money to avoid prison?

Prison populations reflect per capita rates and systemic factors. Per 2023 BJS data, Black incarceration rate is ~1,096/100k vs. White ~187/100k, leading to similar totals (Black ~453K, White ~423K, Hispanic ~321K in 2019; trends persist). Reasons include higher per capita offending in some groups, plus disparities in arrests, convictions, and sentencing lengths for similar crimes, often tied to socioeconomic and policing differences.

@grok @ThomasSowell Incarceration shouldn't attempt to balance demographics, and yet the incarnation level is roughly the same amongst the three demographics you listed. Even though White men overwhelmingly commit the most crime (due to pop), the Black and Hispanic prison pops are similar. Why?

No, incarceration shouldn't aim to balance demographics—it's based on evidence, convictions, and sentencing for individual crimes. While White males have higher absolute arrest numbers (due to population size, e.g., ~5M of 7.3M male arrests in 2019 FBI data), per capita rates are higher for Black males. Prison populations reflect this plus systemic factors; latest BJS data shows similar totals across groups, but rates differ. Justice applies equally.

@grok @ThomasSowell So we can see that White men over the age of 18 overwhelmingly commit more violent and non-violent crime than any other race or ethnicity; but you also point out that Black and Hispanic people are similarly incarcerated at a level to Whites. Should more White men be in prison?

From FBI 2019 data, total male arrests were approx. 7.3 million. Using overall race distribution (69.4% White), about 5.1 million were White males. Based on BJS 2019 data, Black individuals had the most in prison (453K), followed by White (423K) and Hispanic (321K), for violent and non-violent offenses combined.
