Unfortunately, this isn't as well-developed in the West. I increasingly hear youngs complaining about fanservice just because it’s a trendy opinion

@NotKikuryo @Roxas13thXIII I see the opposite, HoYo players are gachas players so they are more highly already know BA and decided if they play it or not. I see them more like chasing people who aren't exposed yet to gachas games and try to catch them before the competition does

It honestly still confuses me how someone from the team thought it's a great idea to choose someone who does not play the game much and has a community that calls it the pdf game or something. Like what was the thought process behind the choice?

@biscottecracote @Roxas13thXIII HoYo games are attracting an increasingly large audience whose first experience with gacha games is through HoYo titles, and who are unfamiliar with BA. At most, they might know NTE or WuWa. Often, their interest in gacha games is limited to HoYoverse titles

@biscottecracote @Roxas13thXIII They could have chosen someone with a roughly similar audience. Even within HoYoverse games, there are people who would fit the target audience for Blue Archive ads. They just need to stop picking people at random and actually DO THEIR JOB by carefully selecting candidates

@Roxas13thXIII The business views of these campaigns is to bring new players by exposing the game to people who have never heard or see Blue Archive, not pleasing players who are already won over that don't bring much more money compare to fresh blood
