juniper and other trans women who have been killed for being trans were not killed by one person. they were killed by the sinister ideology that is transphobia.
every person who has ever spread these evil demonizations has blood on their hands. they are all responsible for these murders.
if you have sat idly by when a friend makes a transphobic remark, or on this app when seeing a mutual do the same, under the false pretense of "it's just a joke": know that this is what it leads to.
the allowance of transphobes to exist within our society as anything but an isolated, minuscule, shunned group - but to instead thrive and sit on the world stage, delivering their horseshit-riddled sermons to the masses - is what ultimately leads to the existence of the people who murder these innocent women.
do not claim to be an ally if you are unable to speak up, if you are unable to speak out against these people. not only in spaces where it is already accepted, but more importantly, in spaces where you will be met friction. do better and be better. silence will not stop these women from being killed.
