Had picked up this jar of Kaara Kuzhambu paste at the Chennai airport on a work trip. On a whim, decided to use it as marinade for chicken and it turned out to be a very good decision indeed. Also, I cooked after a long time today. Yay!

I have become a Marathi teacher at home. Teaching Marathi to my daughter and husband! It’s great… finally my language skills are coming to good use. I scored more in Marathi than Hindi in my board exams 😋😋

While you all argue about whether these are chai or coffee mugs, I am going to go make myself a cuppa. P.S.: I will offer this painting at a discount to anyone who can prove that they are a certified tea or coffee lover.

As nutritionists, we often talk about balanced meals, protein, fibre and healthy eating. But one equally important aspect is often overlooked, food safety. Unsafe food contaminated by bacteria, viruses, parasites or harmful chemicals can cause food poisoning, diarrhoea, vomiting, typhoid, hepatitis and several other illnesses. While anyone can be affected, young children, pregnant women, older adults and people with weakened immunity are especially vulnerable. The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration's "Safe Food, Safe Drug, Safe Maharashtra" campaign is an important step towards ensuring safer food and medicines through stronger hygiene standards, better compliance and greater public awareness. Because the healthiest meal is only healthy when it's also safe. {food safety, Maharashtra FDA, Safe Food Safe Drug Safe Maharashtra, food hygiene, FSSAI, food contamination, food poisoning, public health, healthy eating, nutrition, restaurant hygiene, food adulteration, preventive health}

Be okay with losing any client at any moment. That's how you stop tolerating disrespect, because some really clients think paying your invoice means they own you.

Fibromyalgia is often misunderstood because its symptoms aren't always visible. It is a chronic condition that causes widespread pain, fatigue, sleep disturbances, brain fog, headaches, and mood changes by altering the way the brain processes pain signals. There is no single test to diagnose fibromyalgia. Doctors usually diagnose it based on symptoms, medical history, and by ruling out other conditions. Although there is no cure, symptoms can often be managed with the right combination of medical treatment, regular gentle exercise like walking or yoga, stress management, good sleep habits, physical therapy, and nutrition. Gut health may also play an important role in fibromyalgia. Including probiotic foods such as curd or yogurt, along with fibre-rich fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, may help support digestion, immunity, and overall well-being. Some people may also notice sensitivities to gluten or dairy, although this varies from person to person. Nutrition isn't a cure, but it can be a powerful tool to help improve energy, sleep, and day-to-day quality of life when combined with a personalised treatment plan. #Fibromyalgia #ChronicPain #AntiInflammatoryNutrition #GutHealth #BeyondKilosAndInches

The entire concept of religion is based on fear and greed. Fear of eternal suffering for the soul and greed of eternal luxury in heaven. That's not how God works. That's how capitalism works.

Picture this. A man settled in the US doesn't visit his ailing and dying parent for more than 3 days in 3 yrs. And is now spending 3 weeks in gaya and Rameshwaram at their first death anniversary. Logic: rituals so that he accrues good karma. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
