This morning, I was reminded of how hard it is to build friendships when I noticed new females I met in person at an event last month hid/deleted my supportive comments from their IG social media. I was only trying to make irl friends. :( I feel that people make assumptions about me based on what they see, instead of giving themselves the chance to truly know my heart & take time to find out that I'm actually kind & can be a good friend. It saddens me since it is something that has happened to me multiple times over the years. So that's why I get teary-eyed when ladies on X are nice to me.
