@FoxMan1x @FortniteStatus That's why I'm going crazy idk how I'm the only person getting stung by this, like legit rn my main monitor simply doesn't exist. It doesn't work when plugged into any pc ONLY when plugged into the capture card 😔

@NotRealms @FortniteStatus Dude 😭 I’ve never seen this before ever My game pc just plugs hdmi into my capture card then display port into my monitor it runs Fortnite nothing else, stream pc is connected to the Elgato via usb And that is how it works for me

Can someone at @FortniteStatus please address how out of control the kernal level DMA / HDCP software has gotten in the past 2 years? (rant because its seriously impacting my content) Remix Szn: ALL screen recorders like shadowplay & medal completely fail the entire season because of the concert at risky reels (which forced me to finally get a dual PC setup to avoid that issue) Shock'n'Awesome Szn: External capture card for the dual PC setup got flagged as an external DMA associated with cheating devices with the anti-cheat kicking me out of almost every game I play (forcing me to get an internal capture card) Now: Internal capture card isn't detectable by Nvidias HDCP enforcement and as a result everytime a copyrighted event happens in fortnite (emote / jamtrack) the handshake failure causes a severe spike on my streaming PC's ram causing it to blackscreen. I don't know HOW no other creators are speaking out about this because all i've wanted to do these past few years is get back into streaming but I simply can't with how bad Fortnites third party copyright enforcement is and yet i seem to be the only person effected by it.

@FoxMan1x @FortniteStatus external & internal are both elgato, anticheat hated the external one and now copyright hates the internal one & shadowplay im legit stuck

@FoxMan1x @FortniteStatus as much as I wish this issue was something else my 2nd PC has religiously been crashing only when streaming fortnite via capturecard Works just fine feeding it into OBS, or on any other game, or recording The only way that combo is triggered is by a failed copyright handshake

@NotRealms @FortniteStatus A lot of people use Elgato capture cards internal or external I’ve had no issue with this either way
