Since we making theories about who’s taking down Imu. Personally I’d want Blackbeard to do it. To me it makes sense even if it’s not likely. BB wants to be King of The World, and is a very opportunistic and scheming character. Oda would have built Imu as a decoy for BB.

You talked about narratives, but then just say that Barça relies on that front 3 to score most goals. That’s not true. The player with the second most G/A is Fermin. Lewan hasn’t been starting consistently. Rashford has 20+ G/A.

I think the team needs to commit to live or die by the Gerard-Cubarsi. It is a CB pairing with some limitations, and not much experience. But it is the pairing that allows the team to recognize itself, and the pairing that elevates Pau the most.

This is the effect we’re seeing with Martin when he plays. Alaves, Atletico at home in league, etc. you gain a lot more angles for the CBs to pass directly to the midfield. Martin to Raphinha, Cuba to Olmo. Ripping teams open.

I think a great example of the opposite is Cancelo. You CAN’T bet everything on Cancelo, at least that can’t be the initial plan. Because that isnt as reliable an alternative. But with Gerard-Cuba you get a only a small drop in solidity if at all. And a great amount of creativity

Xavi had been a long time coming. Maybe the fact he wasn’t very focused on worked in his favor. I think our strategy should (and I think is) shifting to longer maduration periods for our academy players who now will find a much more competitive senior team.

@NotSteven01 More rotations/circuits, the better. We've seen Fermin shading outside for Yamal to access the central zones before. Last match came down to the execution. Lewa's 1st touch returning in the 2nd half would be one of those solutions. Arsenal WILL know where and how to diffuse us.

Its not about being guillability. There's a reason the statement is prefaced by "live or die" by it. It implies its a risk. You're banking on playing your best football with the trade off of a real possibility of your defense being superseded. But I ask, what is the alterantive?
