In my opinion on this Barça saga Laporta made the right decision, but it wasn’t exactly in a good way but still made the right decision regardless. I love Messi but era comes to an end and if they had signed him back it might only put Barça in more financial problems. Now they have lamine Yamal and other good players, a structure built from scratch. Barca got sponsored deals, a whole new stadium (still under construction), building and bringing players from their academy. So yeah it was a right decision for Laporta to let Messi go.
