Glad Lucas Giolito finally has a team. Not sure why it took until almost end of April for him to sign somewhere. He will be a good fit in San Diego. Not sure why the Cubs didn’t pull the trigger.

@Tonysmarkettips What spoke the loudest was what he didn't say. He did not deny the rumors or state in any way that he is NOT having an inappropriate relationship with Russini.

Mike Vrabel finally addressed the media today. He thanked the media for their patience, but he did not apologize. Never used the word "sorry" or "apologize." He never mentioned Dianna Russini by name or referenced the incident at all. He did say he's had difficult conversations with those close to him. It's unclear to me at this point if the media was allowed to ask follow up questions, I will find out.

@awfulannouncing While it’s good news let’s not overstate it. NBA put WAY more games on broadcast TV this year. Combine that with new Nielsen measurement data and an increase is not a surprise. League still has a HUGE local media crisis on its hands.

@SHistorians And they should do it. And then take all of those tickets and put them into the lottery so more people can actually go.

Right or wrong, the folks who get Masters tickets on an annual basis and who sell them are in a corner. The Masters has hundreds of millions of dollars of resources. They could easily employ folks to buy tickets off the street and/or via the online ticket market and cancel those season ticket holders. If they truly want to end the re-sale market, it would take a couple years but they could destroy the secondary market.

@DanWolken CBS deserves the criticism. Their coverage on 18 was not up to their standards and I hope they would be the first to admit it.

It really stinks that the two big social media topics today coming out of the Masters are: - Rory practicing at ANGC (a total non-story) - CBS messing up the 18th hole (they did but mistakes happen and in general CBS golf coverage is the gold standard)

Tough, tough day for the normally-great CBS broadcast. Worst Masters coverage in recent memory…soooo much Andrew Catalon, Nantz felt mia, IBF sorely missed, impactful shots of notable players nowhere to be found, total fail on the 72nd hole. Underwhelming, run-of-the mill feel
