For those unfamiliar: Military service in Israel is mandatory; it’s not something you can just opt out of. Avdija fulfilled that obligation in a special unit for entertainers and athletes. He’s never been near combat and has nothing to do with the war in Gaza. His real “crime,” in the eyes of people like @hasanthehun, is being born Israeli. That's it. Also, nowhere in this story did Avdija ask anyone to feel bad for him.
