@HenriHelvetica @photomatt There is a lot of sophisticated and very expensive software out there. I used to work in the semiconductor industry, where chip design and testing software licenses ran $100k+ annually. Many of those products are still in use today.

@ThePrimeagen You have a point, Primeagen. In Windows, just choose your two windows by opening them in succession, then Alt-Tab to switch between them instantaneously. But if you need to cross-reference, for example, an API between frontend and backend, well 2 monitors is the sweet spot.

i cannot believe how many devs use 2 monitors you just don't know the power of a good window manager and work flow
