@StrawTide @DeTocqueville14 The slaughter process can be very brutal for pigs that are not factory farmed. See for example gas chamber footage online, that is the common method.

@NothingIsArt2 @DeTocqueville14 I am aware and thats in many places I am lucky enough to be in Eastern TN. Also again lucky enough to have been to some of the farms. Not saying factory meat isn't prevalent, nor am I saying its ethical. I am saying ethical meat isn't cheap. The cost though IMHO is worth it.

You have as much blood on your hands as I do. The difference is I’m not suffering from nutritional deficiencies.

I really don't understand why vegans are constantly trying to make the rest of us go vegan.

@NothingIsArt2 @DeTocqueville14 I buy locally. Min wage for real as our great grandparent's had it farm raised bacon, cured smoked locally cut by local butcher 14.99 a pound. I dont eat very much. but fuck its tastet when I do.

You can even see this where people say, “This is one of the best burgers I have ever had,” and then after they find out it was vegan, it suddenly becomes disgusting. @Jsjsjskjskk @winxytopia I often find that plant-based alternatives are cheaper. Rice, pasta, lentils, beans, etc. are very cheap if you want to save money.
