Started watching Satluj. In the first 15 mins, there is a scene where Diljit goes to a police station to file a missing report. The police guy looks at the pic and says “It’s the mother of that Aatankwadi (terrorist)” Diljit replies: “Maa to Maa hoti hai, Bhale hi Khaarku ki ho” Kharku is a term which means a fearless fighter, something which the Khalistanis forced local media to call them. If someone resisted they were threatened or eliminated. A protagonist using a term, which is compliant with terrorists shows where the sympathies of this film lies. Laughable how people are batting for it.

Meet Sanjay Chitkara, Director of LG Electronics. - Survivor of the 1989 Khalistani terror attack at Thapar Engineering College, Patiala - He was hit by five bullets and survived. He still has one bullet in his body - Khalistani terrorists stormed the hostel and killed 19 non-Sikh students from different states - Attack took place two hours before Rajiv Gandhi's visit to Chandigarh, yet he made no public statement on it. You won't see this in Satluj because it doesn't fit its one-sided narrative.

I stormed on this article on Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi I want you to read it, it's another angle entirely I picked this part from it "When Messi lost finals, and he lost several, badly, in ways that seemed to break him, he didn’t disappear quietly. He threw tantrums. He cried in front of the cameras. "He threatened to quit. And the people around him came to him every time. What do you need? Come back. We’re still here "That’s a man who grew up knowing that love doesn’t leave when you fail. He could fall apart because he had always been caught." "Ronaldo, when he loses, goes inward. He blames himself when it goes wrong. He credits himself when it goes right. "He expects everyone else to run the same internal economy. And that expectation, formed in a household where a child had to be the engine of his own family’s survival, is both the source of everything he achieved and the wall he keeps running into"
