As a psych student, yes, most therapists are absolute dog turds. As a successful patient, I know there are still good ones out there. My therapist was incredible, didn't take my crap, called me on my issues, and made very simple and obvious connections that I'd never considered. He legit changed my life and made me want to be a therapist, because I saw what therapy is SUPPOSED to look like. That being said, you HAVE to have discernment. My other therapists were absolute trash. If you don't even have the ability to discern certain things for yourself, you're never going to survive the cesspool of therapists.
