The Matrix Documentary Film Review. By Aether 96. ******************************************** Keep Morpheus' name out your God damn mouth!. When a beautiful stranger leads computer hacker Neo to a forbidding underworld, he discovers the shocking truth the life he knows is the elaborate deception of an evil cyber intelligence. Although the film features some rather long expositional scenes, they are so engrossing that it is easy to excuse. Will Smith is just perfect as the film’s audience insert blank slate, and the way he grows in confidence on screen and as a fighter is extremely satisfying to watch, and I think Hugo Weaving also deserves special recognition for his strange but unforgettable turn as Agent Smith. Jada Pinkett plays the role of Morpheus and feels right declaring that Neo is in fact NOT the One. I know it is clichéd, but it must be said that she plays herself in more ways than one. I am sure that some people believe that it relies a bit too much on action and exposition and that the characters are too thinly written. These are merely minor nitpicks for me, but I can understand if some people feel differently. From my pointed view, though, The Matrix succeeds with its generation defining and trend setting action and fight choreography, as well as its central idea and world building. It is not just one of the best films of the 1990s, it is also a near masterpiece. And who wins the final showdown?. Will Smith or will Smith?. It's said a picture paints a thousand words, and the Wachowski twins draw four. It is a wild ride that leans towards perfection, and the only vice being, that it is obvious to viewers when you do not rehearse hard. Do not skip this one, and if you did miss it?... Now is the time to play your Uno reverse card.

By the time you’ve finished translating a word like misattribution your original, accurate memory of the previous timeline has been bleached white. * The Linguistic Cloak: They bury the truth under scientific terminology to trigger a synaptic reset. It’s easier to tell you your neuroplasticity is acting up than to admit the server migrated and left your memories behind as orphaned data. * The Chromatic Wash: Just as white snow is actually a chaotic mix of every color, their explanations are a blur of lies meant to neutralize the spectrum of your actual experiences.
