Been a bit busy! Here are the U.K. 🇬🇧 stats for fully electric cars 🚘 on the roads for beginning January & February 2026. As can see we have passed another milestone, with fully electric vehicles now >5% of all cars on the road (or 1 in 20) 🥳🎉. In December 47,139 (33.%) and January 29,654 (20%) new cars. In February we hit total of 1,783,038 EV cars on the road. Reminder of our energy use and costs for 2024(a bad solar year) Cost £525 Credit £1,099 To my amazement some people still think I must be lying and solar doesn't work half the year 🤥🫣🙄 (and that included driving 16000 miles in EVs)

So we got back from Spain with a total of 4793.5 miles driven in our 2020 Hyundai Kona #BEV. That was 1,568.7 miles driving out, the same driving back of course and 1,656 miles driving in Spain itself. With an overall efficiency of 4 miles per kWh. (cont)

Well, the new M3 is a pleasant surprise. The build quality is 100% a step up, the efficiency is incredible and the drive is beautiful. I’m looking forward to some time in it.
