Our guidance for the Netball Family has been updated following the confirmation of a public bank holiday for the Queen's state funeral on Monday 19th September.

On behalf of its members, Nottinghamshire Netball Association would like to express its sadness on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and offer its sympathy and condolences to the Royal Family. For a lifetime of duty and service to our country, we thank you.

Following confirmation from the Government, we are delighted to confirm that grassroots netball in England can restart on Monday 29 March 🙌    Here’s everything you need to know to get back on court safely 👇

We can’t wait to get the Netball Family back on court ☀️ 📋 We'll be providing you with regular updates and all the latest information to help support the restart of the game. We're due to receive further detail from the Government but here's the anticipated roadmap 👇

Following the Government announcement, we can confirm: 🏫 Netball within schools can resume from 8 March 👥 Community netball can return outdoors from 29 March Our aim is to provide every member of the Netball Family an opportunity to get back on court safely this spring ☀️

We’ll be working with the Government to update our guidance in line with the latest announcement about the national lockdown over the coming days 📋 ❌ All community netball should be suspended until further notice.

With some changes to tiers announced, make sure you keep up-to-date with the guidance for netball where you are. We know for those in Tier 3 that the travel restrictions are complex and causing confusion. As team sports, we've raised this with Government & are awaiting clarity.
