I offered to buy her a refurbished version of the exact same model for $500. A fair replacement, right? Nope. She wants the newest, largest one for $1350 and claims refurbished stuff is unreliable and hers 'could've lasted years more'. I told her it feels like she's using my accident for a massive upgrade. Her response? I'm guilt-tripping her for MY mistake and I should just watch where I walk. Am I wrong for not wanting to pay $1350 for a replacement that should cost $500, especially when we're struggling?
