ngl this is really cool, i now basically have a remote, always on, always available, cloud sandbox environment to run codex on that i can simply talk to and get stuff done for work as well as for general computer use and research

Recently switched from OpenClaw to Hermes and have been blown away by the subtle differences in stability, performance, and overall taste. It does less, but in so doing, somehow does more. Very impressed @NousResearch

We should also mention that it has been a pleasure building on top of Hermes so far, not only because of the more friendly attitudes of the maintainers and community, but because it is by far the more elegantly designed system without a bunch of vaporware features that we need to design around. 🦞

Hey @Teknium we are getting ready to release our plugin for @NousResearch Hermes Agent that gives it a massive array of open-ended agentic finance abilities.
This is a complete rewrite of our original OpenClaw-focused project which we spent several months developing, only to be blocked by @steipete and have their maintainers report our repo and get our GitHub banned.
We know you get a lot of crypto spam, but this is truly a technically complex undertaking which we have tackled because we want agents to be able to take any arbitrary series of actions in the financial world just as a human can.
We hope you will embrace our project! 🦞

Feedback after running Hermes through Telegram for about 2 day:
Experience is surprisingly good. Putting an agent on a VPS and talking to it through Telegram really does make it feel like I gave my AI coworker its own computer.

It’s remarkable. Even with small models, Hermes just wrecks OpenClaw. But it makes sense! The team is underrated when it comes to having some of the first cracked prompt engineers in the game. They invented WorldSim, too
