To every version of myself that I despised. To every hug I truly wanted, and every cry for help that I needed but didn't ask for — for fear of rejection, or the fear of a debt I didn't want to owe. To every mistake I have made that taught me a valuable lesson — from losing money, to losing friends, to losing trust. To every young child who bullied me and made me promise: never again. To everyone, including family members, who said I would not amount to anything in life... To every heart I have broken... and to the ones who retaliated on behalf of those they never met... For every time I loved and was never loved back... and to everyone who loved me and I never loved back. For every business that failed — the ones I laughed about, and the ones that broke me. To somehow finding money... from toil, or just oil on my head... To losing life-changing money and somehow still staying alive. To the never-ending fights with depression, imposter syndrome, discomfort, and fear... To the never-ending conversations and eventual friendship with depression, imposter syndrome, discomfort, and fear... To building things that fail more times than those that succeed — and calling it part of the process. To friendships I wish I never converted to business... To friends I still miss dearly... but glad they are still alive and well and thriving... To love! ❤️ To family... and offspring. To keeping promises... like leaving a section of my board untouched for 3 years. Lol. To temptations and trials and tribulations... To the scorching sun and heavy rains that built a man who could take some of life's punches... Ooohhh, to life's punches... making a man of a boy. To homelessness... To bad decisions and consequences... To success and its short-lived euphoria... To meaning and purpose... finding something bigger than me. To God's calling... To seasons — may we make the most of each of them! To prophecy... the ones that come because a covenant was made! To harvest — "Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over"! To me... every version I have despised and loved and endured and appreciated — it's been an amazing journey that has led me here!!! To the future — Happy Birthday, Godwin Tom!!! You are, and you have, all you need. +1 🎂

Joining #CBAForAfrica26 has really reshape how I think about creative business ecosystem especially music. As someone building across music, art, and culture, @cbaforafrica is the best decision I made this year, 4 months in and with every module I go “that is why I’m here”🤣🤏🏾

I began the music business program at @cbaforafrica earlier this year with the goal of understanding the music industry but the thing I love the most about the program is how I have seen so many pathway options one could go in the same industry. 100% recommend #CBAForAfrica26.

What I’ve learned from the @cbaforafrica is that success takes far more than raw talent or big dreams. It’s built on consistency, teamwork and intentional systems. This experience showed me how important planning, collaboration, and execution truly are. #CBAForAfrica26

I haven't been on twitter today - but someone brought a few of my old tweets to my attention and I can't not address it. 14 years ago, I was 23, so I was definitely not a child. I'm not here to make excuses because I don't have anything to make excuses for. What I can't let anyone do is twist my story to fit false narratives. In 2012, I lived and helped out at my mom's daycare while I was hustling my music. I tweeted everything that happened in my life, as we all did at the time. Kids can be mischievous. If a child did something I found funny, I tweeted about it. Kids are cute and lovable. I want to hug, kiss and cuddle them. I tweet about it. Nothing I tweeted was from perversion. I was not famous, so maybe if I was, I would have understood that anything is open to whatever interpretation including being used falsely by a faceless mob. I've never been depraved in my life. You can retweet all the tweets in the world about me loudly crushing on people I admire/d. Or being a cheeky young woman. I wasn't trying to hide it, because I don't have anything to hide. My team has been deleting some of my tweets because of how sensitive it is for my family. To be honest, I did not want to. I have always spoken against rape and sexual assault even before you knew I existed. It's not a costume I'm wearing, it's who I am. I've never claimed to be perfect. I've never claimed to know everything. I said stop raping women. I stand by it.

Dating someone who believes in God and prays is very important.
