Yes I do. The universe ends with the picture shooting now. 1. The purpose of the DCU was to create a portfolio to showcase the DC brand to show prospective buyers of Warner Bros how it could be leveraged across film, television and animation. 2. Warner Bros has been sold. Under less than optimal conditions. The acquirer, Paramount, will be so overburdened by debt from the transaction that it will be unable to operate a traditional studio. Which is the point. 3. Warner Bros is going to be carved up and financially engineered. That means they will need to rely on partnerships not just for financing, but distribution. 4. DC specifically will need to be spun off into a joint venture. Signs point to that partnership being with Universal. 5. Donna Langley runs Universal. 6. Donna loves musicals. 7. David sings. 8. But David cannot be Superman at Universal because if the partnership is with Universal, everything will have to be rebooted. Universal wants theme park attractions. 9. If David had just waited, he would be the front runner for when Superman is rebooted in two years.

I’ve read Doomsday Clock twice. Once as it was coming out and again when they collected it in paperback I don’t remember anything about it aside from some imagery but I’m tempted to give it a 3rd try. I like Johns & especially Gary Frank What do you all think of this story?
