Ambitious climate action requires us to work together, and that's what we saw in 2022 when construction broke ground at Toronto Western Hospital on the world's largest raw wastewater energy transfer (WET) system. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to see how far we've come, and over the next 30 years the WET system will generate thermal energy from nearby city wastewater to meet up to 90 per cent of the hospital's heating and cooling needs, reducing the use of existing electric and natural gas systems and significantly reducing the site's GHG emissions. This project is unique to Toronto, contributes to our economy, and provides @UHN with an opportunity to test samples of wastewater, opening a variety of health research opportunities.

We are thrilled to announce that we have closed on a transaction with @AncalaPartners that will provide significant capital to support our growth. As the new majority shareholder of Noventa, Ancala will help us expand our business in the US and UK markets as well as Canada.

We're breaking ground this morning on the world's largest raw wastewater energy transfer (WET) System going in at Toronto Western Hospital! The WET System will use thermal energy from a municipal sewer to supply 90% of our heating/cooling - cutting GHGs by 10K tonnes every year!

Today, we broke ground on the Wastewater Energy Transfer project for @UHN's Toronto Western Hospital - in which wastewater will be utilized as a source of energy. The first of its kind, this is an example of public-private sector partnerships that help us tackle climate action.
