Overhead cam catches it all: William Buick on Blue Trail gets head-butted in the stalls by the next horse. Dazed and left behind, the gates open anyway — Blue Trail takes off riderless and runs the full race like a pro.
Declared a non-runner, but the visuals were insane. Buick was cleared and rode later.
