Last year I won citizenship for a child in Quetta whose father abandoned him. A kind lady saw the post, & forwarded to her friend in Peshawar. Her son was in similar situation, father divorced mother and refused to recognise the child as his own. He even went to extreme lengths to denounce the child (including legal proceedings) Her mother contacted me, I asked her, can you pay immigration fees? She said I cannot. I paid immigration fees from my pocket. Did his case and many months back and forth with the department and today when I was about to board a flight from Hai phong to Ho Chi Minh City, the happy mother called me. We got citizenship approval for the child. He is seven years old & today has become Australian citizen. My whole body is smiling. A work that changes lives. Proud to be a lawyer ❤️
