Fun fact, the Uni project I'm making concept art for is heavily inspired by the Nancy Drew games 👀 Anyway's, the sun has risen outside, its almost five am and I've been drawing / working for maybe eight - nine hours today, time for sleep

I finished all my uni work but I wanted to watch all of @kennedymcmann 's Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys livestream... so I ended up doodling Kennedy herself (this is not a repeating trend I swear)

I found a load of my old artwork from 2018 when I started drawing and decided to re-sketch one of them. It's interesting to see how my characters have evolved as I grew more confident as an artist.

Needed a break from Uni work so scrolled through @theposearchives and picked one of there ref photos to practice with. Wasn’t aiming for anything clean, I just wanted to draw something for me rather then for assignments.

Gameplay ~ The mechanics in a Hidden Object game are pretty simple - items are hidden among detailed environments and you need to locate them with your cursor so they become ticked off the list provided for you. Some can be obvious, while others cleverly disguised. 4/5

Visuals ~ Right from the start I knew I wanted to do something with a magical, whimsical vibe. And for the UI design, I wanted to keep it simple but cute - settling on clean text, paper textures, and doddles to fit with Kamaria being a young student. 3/5

Character Design and Premise ~ You play as Kamaria - a young, mischievous witch whose prank goes wrong & causes everyone's items to change size and be scattered around the library. As punishment, she has to find all the missing items & return them to the correct individuals 2/5

University Assignment: Unit One We had to design somthing based around a verb of our choice. I ended up designing a Hidden Object game - as my verbs of choice where To Find; To Discard; To Collect; To Arrange; and To Remove.  1/5
