Samsung please just upgrade the S27U 5x sensor for me please 🤞a new bigger sensor is the next right step imo. The f2.9 is already good enough. I'm glad they changed this with the S26U.

Hypothetically speaking, if both these two models get on the market with this very same camera specs I would go for the Pro. For my specific setup the 3.5x would win every time. Since I already carry that Sony a6700 with me (mostly with 16-300mm lens and sometimes also the 100-400mm for serious reach) the 5x on a phone is redundant and often just a dark lens I rarely need. A 3.5x ALoP module is much more useful as a bridge lens for portraits and street work. It would give me a faster aperture and better low light performance than a long periscope ever could. It is simply the more versatile tool for when I leave the heavy glass at home. I don't usually shoot distant subjects on my phone.

Testing the 3x macro lens 📸 Just a reminder, never use the dedicate macro mode on X9U. It gives horrible oversharpened results. Auto or Master mode for Macro photos, always.

@Ntechs18 @phonefuturist And it's 3x actually does look flat. Do you notice the difference in depth here? In that picture, front and back leaves are in different focal planes, hence the image is in focus in the middle. Check your eyes 😉

@Wvisioncreation One thing I have realised bro, i have not taken a single useful photo beyond 10x in last 5 years so for me a decent 10x is good and Samsung does the job.
