Valve RECIEVED a massive new shipment tied to the headset,and we are now seeing Steam Frame ratings, a “Great on Steam Frame” category, warehouse movement all lining up are a excellent sign for a imminent release. • New Steam Frame-related shipment reportedly arrived at Valve’s US warehouse • Shipment listed as “HMD + VR controller accessory” • Around 1,656 KG • Could be tied to the comfort / ergonomic kit • Valve has already been receiving Steam Frame-related shipments • “Great on Steam Frame” category was spotted on Steam • Steam Frame compatibility ratings are starting to appear • Valve previously confirmed Steam Frame is planned for this summer • Release date and pricing are still unknown If Valve tops pricing, this could be a problem for Meta Quest, especially for those already in the Steam ecosystem.

STEAM FRAME UPDATE Valve’s PCVR showcase games have been tested with Steam Frame’s standalone compatibility system! Valve is interestingly testing the original x86 builds of these games rather than specially ARM made ones. The Lab is “Verified”, and Aperture Hand Lab is “Playable”.

My Steam Machine came in the mail yesterday and it only took all damn day! So far, I’ve played Cronos The New Dawn and Doom: The Dark Ages. On 1080p and 1440p medium settings and locked to 60fps it runs like a dream. For 4k I needed to lock it to 30fps and put on low settings.
