I think i am going to start a media thread for 2026. So for day 1 with an extremely belated 2025 entry which is Far Cry 5. Its well optimized, has a great story and side quests, its a very fun game, and on top of all that, it makes me come back for more. 9/10

You didn't watch the movie. If you compare it to Illumination's other output it's clearly more fleshed out as an artistic work. Galaxy is more likely to be iconography slop for the 00s kiddies but that doesn't change the fact that the Mario movies will be the best of the 20s.

Just gonna say it, the Mario movie was one of the most soulless & bland pieces of entertainment I ever watched. An hour and a half of a recognizable IP’s iconography being shoved in your face with no real story, character development or anything to connect with emotionally.
