Resident Evil 7 was not a good Resident Evil game. It may have paid homage in some elements shared with a plethora of games in the genre, but it strays just as far from the original formula as Resident Evil 5 did🚀 In terms of characters and story, it was cringe and Resident Evil is ALWAYS better when it has heroes we know and love. And also, no. It did not “save” Resident Evil, as RE6 is among the best selling games in the series and its RE2 (2019) that was the return to form, and would’ve happened anyway with or without RE7 and would’ve done just as great. And trying to use this game as proof that Zach Cregger’s movie will be good, is laughable. Fight me🎤 #REBHFun

@SlLENTPRINCESS It explains why certain POI's in botw that reference past game POI's, some have slightly different spelling of the names. Human error is a natural and inevitable over centuries between these games.

this may be an unpopular opinion but i particularly enjoy how the lore between zelda games doesn't exactly match
after all, they're legends. by definition, legends are stories from the past regarded as historical but not verifiable

One the things i liked the most about graces characterization is how accurately the directors represented people with anxiety and difficulties in social interactions: grace stutters a lot, avoids eye contact and is pretty awkward. These details made her more believable and real.

Reggie Fils-Aimé says an Amazon Executive asked for something illegal of Nintendo, so they stopped working together for a time:
“At that time, you know, just in the Americas, I was selling ten million DS’ a year, we’re driving a lot of revenue. We had a lot of scale. And, at the time, Amazon was looking to get bigger into the video game space. Amazon’s mentality back then is they wanted to have the lowest price out in the marketplace, even lower than Walmart. And one of their executives called me… well, it was a conversation that got to me after it had progressed through all of the levels of my sales organization, and essentially what Amazon wanted is an obscene amount of support, financial support, so they could have the lowest price and beat Walmart. I literally said to the executive, “You know that’s illegal, right? I can’t do that.” You know you get silence on the other end, ‘but this is what I want.’
Literally we stopped selling to Amazon, and it’s because I wasn’t going to do something illegal. I wasn’t going to do something that would put at risk the relationship we have with other retailers. But it also set the stage to say, look, you’re not going to push me around. This is the way we do business. And so that’s how over time you build respect.”
