The sisters in my church decorated the altar so well and as the flowers were brought in, people gotvemotional. They used beautiful flowers to elevate the sanctuary and it was so beautiful.

The moment the Catholic Church sang the Gloria in Excelsis Deo—what a truly beautiful moment. The bells rang again, and suddenly we could dance, play the drums, and lift our instruments in joy. Hosanna in the highest!!

@McDivad When I came to Ilorin for school, everything was alien to me except the Church. First day I stepped foot in the church, I felt at home because the first language I heard was Igbo. Later on, I realized all the Catholic churches in Ilorin, IB and Lagos are dominated by ndị Igbo.

The first times I started attending Mass last year, I felt Catholics were too obsessed with Jesus—the genuflecting, the bowing whenever His name is mentioned, I just couldn’t wrap my head around it why they were so obsessed with Him 😭😭😭
