@bhawkmemes98 It’s a bit of a numbers game. Can’t go to AHL without clearing waivers, BUT certainly doesn’t seem like Jeff Blashill wants him on the ice!

@JenMN72 @sidseixeiroshow Respect?
OK. I respect he’s been a quality player. I respect he may not be THE problem.
Doesn’t seem like he’s been the solution either.
Still don’t want him on MY team.

@NukeLalooch @sidseixeiroshow I’m not a fan of that team but J Tavares needs some respect

Who do you consider an "untouchable" on the Toronto Maple Leafs roster?

@NukeLalooch @sidseixeiroshow Problem was paying bank for zero results. What's the incentive to win if you've been paid like you already did? When Toews was leading you guys to back to back cups, he was making a modest sum compared to others. Got bank after winning. That's how it works

@thebubbasq @OleTimeHardball @BigLeagueDigest Is THAT the same guy that drove OJ Simpson across LA in a White Ford Bronco!?

Most people only see Asunción.
But a few hours on the road shows you a completely different Paraguay: the hills of Paraguarí, the waterfalls and forest trails of Ybycuí, the culture of Villarrica, the hidden nature of Caazapá, and the riverside history of Piribebuy.
This is why Paraguay is special. It’s not polished tourism. It’s real towns, local food, quiet roads, swimming holes, national parks, and landscapes most foreigners have never heard of.
Paraguay is still one of South America’s best-kept secrets. 🇵🇾

@mikecommito @pre2000hockey Toronto “Neely” won that trade!!! 🤷🏻♂️

On this day in 1973, the Flyers traded a first-round pick (Bob Neely) and future considerations to the Maple Leafs for the rights to Bernie Parent and a second-round draft pick #Hockey365 #LetsGoFlyers

🇵🇾 What the World Lost, Paraguay Kept.
There is a specific kind of silence that has disappeared from the rest of the world, but in Paraguay, it is still the heartbeat of every afternoon. It’s the silence of a life that isn't waiting for the next crisis.
When you look at old photos of this land from the 1950's or 60's, you realize something profound. The world has spent eighty years reinventing itself into exhaustion and a over-ruled nightmare, but Paraguay stayed true. It didn't chase the chaos. "Well... maybe it was stuck in a dictatorship" moving on... still it didn't invite the "woke" culture, the endless social upheavals, or the constant noise of modern division. It simply remained. And still is💪🏻🔥
A Future You Can Count On is what people crave, and living here in 2026 feels like stepping back into the American dream of 1950's, not because the technology is old, but because the certainty is back, the contry is emerging and you can feel the young energy.
It’s the feeling of being born in the 50's 60's 70's or 80's, where you knew exactly what the world would look like when you were older. It’s a "promising" and "seemingly secure" future. You can look down the road of your life and see it clearly.
The streets stay calm.
The family stays together.
The faith remains the anchor.
The End of Looking Over Your Shoulder
We have become so used to the "work-left" culture and the constant threat of global drama that we’ve forgotten what it feels like to just be. To just enjoy lfe in the present.
In Paraguay, that weight is gone. You realize you are never going to be "bothered" again by the latest madness. The noise of the world stops at the border.
Here, a long life isn't just a hope; it’s a natural outcome of a place that values God, good food, and great friends over "progress" for progress' sake. It is the peace of knowing your children will grow up with the same values you did, and that your twilight years will be spent in the same sun-drenched tranquility as your prime.
Some people call this "living in the past."
I call it the only way to have a future. 🥂

@oldhockeycards Yeah, well,….he was shooting on a washed up Ed Giacomin and then a washed up Jim Rutherford who played behind a defence that couldn’t stop a pedestrian.
