I say this as someone who loves Jill so much I have a mint condition RE5 Battlesuit Jill Valentine Hot Toys figure and a custom Jill statue that's taller than my monitor(pics below). Yes I played RE3 OG and you have got it completely backwards. The remake rushes through everything! - Jill's fear of being infected is literally punched out of the game by Nemesis making his entrance and never brought up again. - Not even a concern in the OG. - Meeting Dario showed just how much of Jill's defining kind, warm and approachable personality was stripped away in this moment, from getting annoyed at being called "Missy" to her last plea to Dario sounding more like a lite threat. - OG Jill remained calm, patient and compassionate with Dario even giving condolences for his lost daughter. - Meeting Mikhail in the remake when Mikhail holds his wound and the camera focuses on it, Jill just taunts "How's that going for ya?", not to mention her next "Corporate Overlords" line belongs on tumblr, not spoken by a 1998 woman. - Meeting Mikhail in OG, he's wounded and Jill immediately goes to him and shows deep care and concern for him. Another point in OG is when Jill comes across Mikhail gunning down zombies and Jill actually shows sympathy for the zombies there. I once saw someone claim that the protags of RE can't afford to be warm, kind or gentle in the world full of monsters they're in. THAT'S why we always loved Jill because she CAN afford to be that kind of person, just like how Leon can continue being a kind and caring wisecracking smartass even with all his trauma. The worst thing about another RE1 remake is seeing that bitch from RE3R ruin my angel's memory even more. Anyway here's some pics of my Jills:

I see people constantly say RE3R Jill is mean, rough and untrusting. Did yall ever play the original RE3? I think what people get confused by is the OG had limited time to expand characters, everything was quick, but for its time it was great. The remake has the chance to build upon what was made before it. More time to develop on Jill’s anger of Umbrella and the trauma she went through, her unwillingness to trust Carlos and Mikhail at first, there’s a lot of similarities and the remake, despite how you feel about it, did a great job at expanding on her and Carlos in this game.

So now you're a tourist who can't even get his game events right. Leon was hungover and still strong enough to hold back an enhanced BOW that took 3 headshots to kill. Not to mention that at the half way point Leon sustains a GSW while shielding Ada. Leon soloed RE2 while battling the combined pain of a GSW and a hangover. "Becomes" an alcoholic? Dude, I just said he was hungover in RE2, that's why he was late on his first day. But after Chris had amnesia and depression beaten into him by a fodder enemy so hard that he did run away like a bitch to become a alcoholic who spits sexist insults at women and was ready to beat an innocent man until his dumb ass is snapped out of it by Piers. What else ya got?

Only scripted and cutscene hits are canon and Chris never lands a single hit on Wesker until after weakening him with the serum. Needs to be bailed out by Jill when against pre serum Wesker. T Virus weakened Leon slices off Zeno's hand who's at the same power and skill level as pre serum Wesker, Leon even lands a major axe blow in his bad ending.

More tourist exposition, taking out one of the strongest antagonists is an infinitely higher feat than test experiments and weak hunk clone.

Chris shares 50% credit for Wesker's kill with Sheva. Chris never beats Haos in RE6, is killed by a dying Piers after bailing out Chris from a Haos grab. Leon solos another Tyrant, another Nemesis and HUNK himself in the same game while dying from the T Virus WITH AN AXE! Try harder.

Its Ndesu which is a much stronger creatures with 10 parasites in its head instead of 1, not to mention its controlled and not mindless. It’s literally twice as strong as every re4 gigante combined

Leon and Chris get bailed out many times by others throughout the series as do the leading ladies, so both men are the same in that regard. But the bullshit claim that Chris could dominate RE4 solo is proven false by RE5 because those who actually bothered to play RE4 and RE5 would know that Chris goes through the same test in RE5 that the very video of this post falsely claims. Both games start with the men having to survive against an overwhelming rush of enemies with starting gear until a 3rd party interferes. Even RE8 has it with Ethan. Leon did it solo. Ethan did it solo. Chris did NOT, he had help from Sheva. Plus there's the fact that in RE4 Leon killed 4 of the El Gigantes solo, even had to babysit a defenseless girl during one of those fights. Chris needed help from Sheva and vehicle mounted heavy weapons just to take down 1 of them. (Even with the RE4 Remake adding Luis for the doubles and a canon for the 2nd, Leon still faced 3 of the 4 on foot head on)

Very wrong, RE5 has the same starting scenario where he has to survive a horde of enemies and he gets grabbed all the time by Majinis and still needed Sheva's help to survive it and ONLY survived because the BSAA Chopper showed up with an RPG. He needed the help of a trained partner and back up from his army, FACT!

What the hell did Claire do to help Leon? Without Leon, Claire would have died from the beginning zombies, both in OG and remake, did you forget the iconic "Get Down!" moment?. Matter of fact, I just remembered that in RE2 Leon was hungover during, which was why he was late on his first day, so even in RE2 he still had to withstand a compromising handicap. People like to call Chris the One Man Army when Leon has more claim to that title than Chris ever will.

Ashley and Ada survived because Leon saved them in the end, A LOT of men under Chris didn't, even Jill paid the price of years of psychological torture under Wesker for bailing Chris out of a jam. No Chris isn't really a push over, but until he can solo a RE4/9 tier threat all while withstanding an infection that compromises him and still end up saving people in the end, he's still a chump compared to Leon.

@NukemNerd @ShitpostRock2 Leon got the first group of guys in RE4 and Luis killed, let Ashley get kidnapped a second time, he needed help from Ashley and Ada multiple times, need I go on? Leon might apparently be awesome, but Chris isn't a pushover either like you're falsely claiming.

RE5 he needed Sheva, Josh and a whole BSAA army and no infections, yet most of the army died and still needed to nerf Wesker with a serum to get anywhere. RE7, he had all of Blue Umbrella and STILL got his squad killed. RE8 he was backed up by Hound Wolf Squad and got Ethan killed because he chose to not tell Ethan about his plan(his own men call him out for this IN THE DAMN GAME!). Sounds like you're the one who didn't play the games.

I don't think that was his head in the Nemesis form, if you look again as the form is climbing up over the edge, you can see his head just underneath before it's squashed when it comes down on the floor. Another reference I don't see many people catch is when Zeno mentions how "The technology to control someone else's will already exists, but it's not efficient at infecting others." He's referencing the P30 device Wesker used on Jill as the technology while completely ignoring the Plaga parasite which actually is efficient at infecting others, it was also used by Wesker in the same game to control the Majini.

You can still see Victor's face even after his parasite mutates him into a blob. However, he doesn't even resemble himself. Unlike Umbrella's Nemesis (whose head remained intact after mutating), this is a testament that a human can't handle an NE parasite like a Tyrant #REBHFun

@GuerrillaBoy_ I have a hard time seeing Chris being able to solo the events of RE9, including besting Mr Death himself and another Wesker while being on the brink of death due to another more worse infection.

@NukemNerd yeah, that's actually true, and in one of the CG movies, Chris Struggled against the main bad guy, while Leon did a flying kick on the guy.... while he was already mutated.

@Resident_bio If this really was Hunk then he was done horribly dirty here, with the legacy this man has among the franchise, his long awaited duel against Leon ended up being nothing but a lessor imitation of the RE4R Krauser knife fight. Victor was right on the money:
