I’d feel a lot more solidarity with the “No Kings” protesters if they weren’t salivating to pick new masters for me and everyone else during the coming election seasons—after which they will retreat back into ignorance and apathy while their team rules with impunity and authoritarianism. 🥱

Seeing a lot of posts like this which almost come off as acceptance, like we have no choice in the matter of how we live. We have choices. Maybe not easy ones. Maybe they require taking responsibility and the courage to say NO. Sounds hard? Well how easy does this list sound?

It is time to take the gloves off. We tried to be nice with these people, even the very popular ones. It doesn’t work. They are a privileged class. Recently I got into a bit of a rhetorical battle with one who has a podcast and is a friend of Joe Rogan. When I repeatedly pointed out he fell for Trump, JD Vance, RFK Jr., Tulsi, Kash Patel, and not only fell for them, but endorsed them, he finally responded. He closed his first missive with, “bitch.” Now I am a grown ass man. I do not say anything to anyone on X that I not say to their face. I informed this entitled prick that if he said that to my face, he would be spitting his teeth out. He backed off. Once he swore to do better in the future, the next day he called Joe Kent a hero. I am very transparent about my past. I spent 36 years in DOD. Joe Kent is no hero. He was a killer for the empire. Another prominent libertarian with a PhD, who has a podcast and writes books, closed his comeback to me with STFU. He claims to be a Christian. Would it ever, in any circumstance, be appropriate for me to call you a bitch and to STFU? And then for me to go on pretending that I am some sort of anti-war guy who then sells drugs on his podcast or pitches their other wares? It is a grift.

Antiwar activists have every right to be angry about representatives of the libertarian party endorsing this murderous monster. Yes, some will be offended. Unfortunate. Not as unfortunate as the reign of terror, the USG has inflicted on the Earth. - ak
