A3)In the beginning, I was at a loss for how to stay connected. I decided to start calling our birthday students for each day to check in. My principal was fine with me doing that and I have LOVED making those connections with students AND parents. #apLeaderChat

A3) I have increased the SE support I provide Ts. Texing to ensure they are doing well and posting positive notes on school social media. If Ss are not in their Meet session, I call to check-in. Continuing some school norms like celebrating Ss meeting goals #apLeaderChat

@HolmanJenniferE I read somewhere that during this eLearning, every principal is a 1st Year Principal! So true! There was no leadership class on Leading Through a Pandemic! LOL!

A2) I'm checking in with my principal each day. I'm fortunate to work with a leader who wants to include me in everything she does so that I can learn. That is really beneficial for me right now because there seems to be something new every day! #apLeaderChat

A2)Thankfully my ILT meets daily via Zoom. We support each other professionally & personally. I am constantly in Ss Google Meet sessions and providing SE support to our staff. Nightly texts to see what areas she needs assistance with. I have Lots of flexibility! #apLeaderChat

A1: I support my principal by having a strong instructional foundation and remaining current on PD. Support also with details & logistics as well as providing a teacher's perspective on things.#apLeaderChat

A3: The culture of my school is awesome! Admin is viewed as instructional leaders and we share duties. We utilized mobile desks to work on the go! I intentionally determine 3 classrooms to visit daily and visit teams daily during LEAD time to check in! #apLeaderChat
