#HappyDiwali from the nursery children! This week we have been learning about Diwali! We made Diyas, created Rangoli patterns, and trying the different foods mentioned in our story!

This week, we are reading the story ‘the Enormous Watermelon’! The children have been getting creative by painting watermelons! We even had some watermelon for snack! #readingforpleasure #HealthyEating

Happy Monday! The children returned to school after the weekend to discover that Old Mother Hubbard has been to visit! She left us a watermelon plant and a story about the time she grew an enormous watermelon! 🍉 #readingforpleasure

Today the children had a go at making their own beeswax candles! It was tricky, but they used their strong fingers to roll the beeswax around the wick!

The children have been baking healthy banana cookies today! It was lots of fun squishing up the bananas! The classroom smells super yummy!

Today we celebrated #NationalPoetryDay2023! The nursery children worked together to write a poem about our safe spaces, decorating their poem with some lovely art!
