Every day, I see numerous posts about people’s pets passing away and how painful it is. I “like” each post because I feel each pet deserves it.
Today it’s my turn. After 11 months our adopted rescue Cat, Pam passed today. It was the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make, but we know he’s now pain-free and running happily.
He was the sweetest, kindest boy. My posts never get many views, but if you could look at the pics of our sweet guy, I’d really appreciate it.

@AnAbyssWatcher @__Poisonivyyy i think what would drastically reduce femicide is if men stopped killing women.
English

A 25 years old woman, Tanesha Richards, went on one date and rejected the man. He stalked her for over a year with hundreds of calls and texts. Despite her moving, quitting her job, and filing a police report (which was ignored for 7 months), he tracked her down on July 2, 2024, broke into her apartment, and shot her twice, killing her. In March 2026, Bruce Gerard was sentenced to life in prison. But Tanesha? She lost hers, over one date 💔

English

@AnAbyssWatcher @__Poisonivyyy A person who calls someone hundreds of times, stalks them, breaks into their home, and kills them is not a rational person. There is nothing any reasonable person can do to avoid this outcome besides never go outside. The responsibility was on HIM to not be violent.
English

@__Poisonivyyy If you aren’t interested in a man, take nothing from him and pay for your part of the meal after the date. This would drastically reduce this kind of problem. Too bad most females won’t heed this advice

ICE has been holding a disabled double amputee named Rodney Taylor in a camp for a year. He’s been in the US since he was two years old. It’s all he knows. When they detained him, they denied him access to new prosthetic legs. His health is declining.

Rahman: On January 13th, on the way to my 39th appointment at the traumatic brain injury center, I encountered a traffic jam caused by ICE vehicles and no signs indicating how to get around it. I had not wanted to pull into a block to chaotic intersection but verbally agreed to do so and rolled down my window after an agent yelled, "Move, I will break your f'ing window."
There were conflicting threats and instructions that I could not process while watching for pedestrians. Then the glass of the passenger side window flew across my face. I yelled, "I am disabled!," at the hands grabbing at me and the agent said, "Too late."
An agent pulled a large combat knife in front of my face. Which I thought was for cutting me. And later learned was used to cut off my seatbelt. Shooting pain went through my head, neck and wrists when I hit the ground face first and people leaned on my back.
I was carried facedown through the street by my cuffed arms and legs while yelling that I had a brain injury and was disabled.
