On @drip_haus we've always stored assets permanently on ar.io. Solid decision! ✨💪
ar.io@ar_io_network
100% access to critical data is the requirement. Not best effort. Not most of the time. If partial access is acceptable, the data wasn’t critical. ar.io is the assurance layer for access over time.

@solanapoet @drip_haus Looks like it just got verified! I'm seeing if we can do something to automate this. I guess its a manual process right now.
English

the next thing @drip_haus should build is their own secondary marketplace
how is it that you can create a new collection on drip, fully approved & verified, but still wait a week on tensor before secondary is live. should be automatic.
I wonder how many drip creators struggle

@corphor @Xiznft @drip_haus That's the wrong analogy. It's like any mall. You’ve got Louis Vuitton and Rolex sitting right alongside Forever 21 and Hot Topic. Same roof, totally different leagues.

@NxJoe24 @Xiznft @drip_haus If you value your work don’t sell it at a dollar store. Even if they do allow you to price it how you like.

How and Why @drip_haus Ruined 1/1 Artists in Solana 😞😞
This tweet is going to be long, but I need to vent.
Last year, Drip Hous, a platform for selling cNFTs (NFTs), was launched. At first, it was doing very well... until...
It was difficult to get in. You had to fill out a form, have an interesting and intelligent proposal, and then they would schedule a call with 20 other artists, from which they would only choose a few. It seemed like it was going to be something great; I was accepted after two months.
Then, this filter disappeared completely. As the months went by, if you applied to join, you were automatically accepted (its main flaw).
At first, Drip House was very profitable. You would create a 4-piece edition, add rarities, auction a 1/1 on @mallowdotart, and earn enough to make your work as an artist worthwhile.
Then, with the enormous overabundance of "artists," this stopped being the case. So, an edition of 4 or 8 pieces would only bring in a maximum of $50, a real mockery of our work. But there were artists who didn't care because they were self-employed, and $20 to $50 seemed like enough to them (they started to damage the ecosystem).
I realized that DRiP was destroying my artistic career and offending my collectors. I have my 1/1 collection, where auctions for my pieces were around 2 Solanas, and my last edition on DRiP, by my calculations, sold each PFP for $10. It's ridiculous.
I decided to leave DRiP for the sake of my reputation.
Why do I say that DRiP destroyed Solana artists? This year has been the worst to be an artist, with almost no response from collectors. But why is this?
If I can buy a PFP in your style on DRiP for 5,000 drops, why would I spend 2 Solanas on your auction? It's common sense 😅
Only a select group of artists on DRiP are truly profitable; some because they create something amazing and ORIGINAL, like Sirius, and others because of their powerful connections 😃
This is obvious... Leaderboards with 5 million droplets versus others with 20,000 are simply not profitable.
Out of my generation of artists, approximately 40, only a couple are still active... There's a total decline.
Moral of the story: if you're an artist looking to get started on Solana, don't join DRiP. Only join if you want to sell your work for $4 and support the love of art.

@kirkenglehardt @drip_haus it should not be complicated, just better. you can assume safely now it will be 70+% of everything, so just as easy. and after a few cycles you'll see where things tend to land for your typical composition.
English

This seems pretty good, but the big question is...how the heck are we supposed to estimate our payouts now. The math becomes hella complicated. Is there at tool to help us figure out what we can expect the next day? It was easy assuming it was 70% of everything - I may need to create an AI model to do this for me.

@ec_englund @Zenki_Ltd dont see this reflected here, but would be great. still 70% from what i see.
English

@Zenki_Ltd Yes - use margin on my entire portfolio. Robinhood just lowered the margin maintenance from 70% to 35% for $MSTY today as well.
