We really appreciate the CFMs in Ankarinoro Fandriana Madagascar, for their commitment in forest restoration and natural resources conservation. 20,000 seedlings transplanted per community would be the annual goal of each community to cope with climate change.

Improving people's #resilience is already a step towards reducing the #impact of #disasters. We have supported the cyclone victims by distributing food and seeds, followed by training to improve the harvest. The roads have been also rehabilitated through community work.
"Our situation was very tough, especially after the cyclones passage, our crops were destroyed & had no longer any food, but now we have sweet potato, which helps to feed our family, we can even sell them to improve our source of income", said Ernestine from Ikongo MDG.
Congratulations to Dreny Lobert Revelin who defended his dissertation research on "Diversity and toxicity of entomopathogenic fungi associated with the wild silkworm Borocera cajani from Amoron'i Mania tapia forest".
