Another disappointing court ruling for children in care.
Placing children halfway across the country – away from school, friends, and family – happens far too often, disrupts vital relationships, and undermines any sense of stability.
Reform is desperately needed.

The Civil Service is offering paid 12-month internships for #CareLeavers across the UK 💰
In 2020, over 250 care leavers were offered an internship with the Civil Service.

@_LisaCherry @SonnetSmith @TerryGalloway Fully agree we both felt like we were on a conveyor belt out of care - hardly any check ins - as if corporate parents felt that suddenly at 16 we were ok to face the big bad world alone - the times where we had to be the most resilient but felt very lonely 😊
