@gridboundStory @Hesamation I think that there's probably a lot of people who are doing it but just not have it publicly known atm. And I 100% agree with your example 🤣 All the extra stuff the general AI's are trained on becomes bloat. As well as the fact they train on everything, including misinformation

@Nyanno_VTuber @Hesamation Yeah I've been waiting for years now for the specialization of models but very few are doing it. Like my coding model doesn't need to know what the butler's name in Hound of the Baskervilles is (it's Barrymore), and my critique-my-story model doesn't need to know Lisp.

@gridboundStory @Hesamation Honestly, the private heavily specialized AI tools are already capable of advanced 3D modeling, textures, and game implementation on UE5. (Like 99% accuracy) But the big publicly tradeable companies are so heavily focused on AGI with their everything models that hallucinate.

There are already studies coming out about the AI layoffs (one hit Forbes today) and their deleterious effect on business. It's going to be the usual enterprise hilarity where the really big, slow companies are rushing to adopt AI and fire everyone while all the nimble players are just going to a leaner, more skilled staff model.

@gridboundStory @Hesamation You see, they tell the investors they're laying people off which will increase efficiency. Then they'll tell investors they're hiring new workers to expand the industry. When you consider how lobotomized the average investor is, it makes a lot of sense when you think about it!
