Tucker: It’s time to establish a healthy relationship where Israel can pay its own bills, fund its own military, and act within the constraints imposed by its own economy and population. A $2 million toll for “safe passage,” backed by threats of attack or mines, will not be acceptable without a war. Oman will not agree to it, the other five GCC states whose lifeline depends on it will not stand idly by, and the international community will remain engaged until things return to “normal”.
