Talking with my Japanese friend about the exact phrasing by Yuji Horii and yeah it absolutely does not specify DQ12 in any way so there's a chance it is something else but decent chance it still is. I am betting on 12 regardless but just make sure not to spread 12 as a hard fact.

Not surprised that 12 will be announced, it's the only event announcing the next mainline DQ game at would make sense for. The various other things is interesting, hopefully Zenithia remakes but could also just mean merch and mobile games
