@OliGamepray Exports are saved to your Documents folder: Documents\VRCAvatarSettingsManager\exports To back up everything, click the Export All button and save the file. To restore it, click the Import All button and select it.

@Nymmh omg yes but I have question for exemple If I reset my pc where I can find the files to backup before resting?

tytytytyty 💙 I looked at Tauri and decided to go with Electron because of the available knowledge and because it’s what I was familiar with. Tauri is still on the roadmap. The app doesn’t need to run all the time; it just enables real-time tracking for parameters. You can open it only when needed. From the testing my friends and I did, it’s not taxing to leave running in the background, even with all the VR apps we run in the background. After Windows allocates memory to it, it starts to trickle down as that memory isn’t being used. When it does need to update itself, it was never intrusive.

I have to ask, WHY ELECTRON? 😓 I really love the approach to this, and the overall idea is solid! To clarify, do users have to always have this running in the background even when the app is not actively being used by the user? The FAQ seems to indicate that, however needing to have yet another chrome browser actively running in the background when not in use sounds quite taxing (especially when the user runs their loads of other vr apps already). If yes, I would suggest an ad hoc approach where the app updates its local database on launch, so there's no need to keep it running when it's not actively being used.
