#Revit 2022 View Template question: Our RCP view templates don't show up under the Ceiling Plans 'filter' only the 'all' filter. Is there a way to fix? Person who created the template said that they were copied in? Were they created incorrectly? Users complain...

@johntpierson Saw this on Netflix's Car Masters: Rust to Riches modifications done by Gotham Garage. Apparently the perfect size car for driving between the vineyard trellises.

@_TheDanWarren @kramernickm (2/2) I assume it's a printer driver issue with PDF export but I don't know of a way to change the printer driver PDF export is using.

@kramernickm So it took a little time to test but we identified what’s causing this issue. If you use the #PyRevit print function to control the order of the prints instead of the Revit PDF export or Print function then Bluebeam picked up a lotta artifacts on the sheet number.

@_TheDanWarren @kramernickm (1/2) Has anyone had the issue with PDF export that the longest keynote text will plot extended past the legend outline? This is the reason we continued using PyRevit instead of using PDF export for our file naming convention when printing single sheets.

@thebimguru I started with Chitubox but quickly switched to Lychee. After liking the features in the free version I ended up getting the Pro version for some additional features and just to support the company.

@thebimguru So that link seems to be more related to fdm printers than resin. With you having an Elegoo I'd refer to these instead they have a excel spreadsheet for their printers with different resins. elegoo.com/blogs/3d-print…

@thebimguru (2/2) I found that for my resin printer it was a lot less tweaking the slicer settings than my fdm printer and more about making sure then supports were all there.

@thebimguru (1/2) What are you using to generate your supports? Doing them by hand or using a support generator from your slicer? I'd definitely make sure that you don't have any floating islands in your model that you're failing to support. Then slicer generators could be missing one.

@johntpierson (2/2) some dispersed adhesion but when the supports went, it didn't take much to rip the print off the bed. I only say this because the print literally came off the build plate. Not sure what caused it to come off with so much energy.

@johntpierson (1/2) Looks like a bed adhesion issue either looking at solutions for increasing the adhesive properties of your build plate. Or you could try reprinting with a brim instead of a skirt base layer. Some of your supports fall off mid print and that at first was probably helping add

@johntpierson (2/2) Biggest downside is cost per print area. If you're not intending on printing larger items than 8"x4"x8" then for a couple hundred dollar could have gotten a resin printer. Filament printers always require more effort to get them dialed in and still prints fail.

@johntpierson (1/2) Yeah I meant to contribute to your 3D printer recommendations post but never got around to it. My 2 cents would have been depending on what the intended function of your printer was to look into Resin Printers vs Filament Printers. I enjoy my resin printer purchase more.
