Apparently this is controversial bc ive gotten into fights with people and told “so you’re boring!” (as a SA surviver with severe trauma over how violent it was) not every vtuber is a lewdtuber and not every vtuber wants to be sexualized, receive sexual comments, be flirted with or receive sexual artwork. and thats okay. Boundaries exist for a reason. I’ve purged almost every person who goes against my boundaries out of my space and I don’t feel bad about it.

I hate this... The urge to leave this platform gets stronger every day. As a creator and artist, it doesn’t feel right here anymore.

I wish we could just grab every single artist and Vtuber and leave this place. It’s no use anymore. I know a lot of people have built something here, but is it really worth it? Can’t big accounts convince their followers to move to an alternative site? All these changes are making it harder for people who rely on a platform to self promote and make a living. Why are we trying to stay in hell when there are ways out? 😔

👏 Vtubers, stop doing the following! 👏 The new algorithm and picture editor feature are not just some of the worst possible changes for vtubers. They are downright devastating for us all. After my tests with the algorithm, here are four posting habits I recommend you change. ■ Do not bother with going live posts! The new algorithm pushes your posts to a small subset of your followers first, relying on them to interact before pushing it out to more followers and beyond. For going live posts, these have been rendered nigh useless. You will have finished streaming by the time it reaches most people! ■ If you must promote an upcoming stream, know that the algorithm knows exactly what common euphemisms like "the purple site" mean. If the algorithm knows you're trying to lure people off-site, it will hurt your account. Be vague and use terms which could be used in multiple circumstances. Add the promo portion onto the end of a post after talking about other things, or make it sound more meta. ■ The algorithm also takes into account what people say in the comments now to better understand the whole context of a post. Be considerate of your comments on other people's posts! ■ Consider moving away from content which require other vtubers to share their PNGs (on here at least)! These posts will sure become easy targets for any bad actors seeking to humiliate vtubers using the new editing feature. Merry Christmas I guess! 💔 What a frustrating timeline we live in.
