@OctorokR I mean I don't know, he only spent upwards of a few weeks as a teenager, and he didn't really have to engage with much of actual adult living in that time, at least not much more than he already had the capability to do as young link, I think he would be fine.

In my opinion: I think the writer's decided that Zelda's decision was a mistake immediately. The ending of Ocarina of Time subtly frames Link's return as a sad thing, and one look at the game's themes tells us exactly why. Link is already all grown up - he's effectively left Neverland - and once your childhood is gone, it's gone. There's no going back for Link, and any attempt to regain lost time is a fool's errand; only by moving forward can one hope to carry on. That's what it means to be an adult.
Now, whether or not the writers knew they were going to explore the aftermath of this decision in future games is a different matter entirely. But I believe Zelda's decision was framed as a mistake from the get-go, because it's a direct contradiction to the very coming-of-age narrative that the entire game spent building up.

It's another week so of course we have another VA disability leech on the Caleb Hammer show. This Asian twink gets 100% VA disability for "mental health" and "joint paint" which he says in the episode is from "having to wear heavy equipment once a month". Keep in mind he works a full time job making 200k per year and also has a side business where he helps other veterans "get their disability benefits" which means he helps other people commit fraud. End this insane program now and restart it with actual oversight. *Mutes post*
