If the game was paid and having subscription like FF and WoW, than maybe it would worth. It's not that simple to add controller support. But you can still play with controller, just not officially

Thirteen years. That’s how long Guild Wars 2 has been out and still no translation for millions of players worldwide. How hard would it be to add Portuguese, one of the most spoken languages on the planet? Fans outside the US and Europe deserve respect too.
